Tess graduated her BA with first class honours in Art History and a MA in Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne. During Tess’s university days she worked at Sotheby’s Australia and volunteered at the National Gallery of Victoria in their library archives. After graduation, Tess started at Bonhams, then at Christie’s contemporary gallery, Haunch of Venison, later moving on to work in their business development department. She then moved to Paris to work for a private collector and an art dealer conducting research projects on the 20th century artists; at the same time working on Aboriginal exhibitions. On moving back to London Tess became Head of Sales at a gallery specialising in Impressionist and Post-impressionist artists. She joined Roseberys in 2016 and has worked on business development and the growth of the Impressionist, Modern, Post-War and Contemporary Art auctions. Tess has a large fondness for the 20th century French and British artists. She worked as Head of Sale for the Studio Collection of Marie Vorbieff Marevna and is currently working on compiling the catalogue raisonne on the artist.
