Mark joined Roseberys after a career at Christie’s South Kensington spanning 31 years. He graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and History of Art at Canterbury College of Art. After working for three years as a Museum Assistant at the Victoria and Albert Museum, he then undertook a three year project in church archaeology before he joined the Jewellery Department at Christie’s where he became Senior Specialist and Associate Director.
He brings a wealth of experience in identifying and valuing jewellery, he is a Fellow and Diamond Member of the Gemmological Association and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. He also has a sound knowledge of watches and military medals and is a member of the Treasury Valuations Committee for the British Museum. His specialist interest is Medieval jewellery and Militaria.
