George’s passion for 20th Century Art and Design led him into a career in the art market. His work at Roseberys and studies at the University of York span a variety of disciplines and movements. George graduated from the University of York in 2021 with a BA in History of Art, where his studies focused on the work of Paul Nash, Edward Wadsworth and Bernard Leach.


His major area of interest is Studio Pottery, which has been a near lifelong pursuit, as an active collector and potter. His expertise reflects the breadth of the Studio Pottery movement, from the Leach Tradition to Modernist and Post-Modernist potters.


George also serves as the Associate Specialist in the Prints & Multiples department, with a particular interest in British art of the inter-war period.
