Important Georgian silver highlights include a remarkable pair of George IV silver gilt jugs by William Elliott, engraved with the crest of the Forbes family (Lot 3), while the offering of 20th century silverware includes an array of decorative tableware, including an impressive ‘black swan’ centrepiece, and a model of a fox by the well-known British firm of Mappin & Webb.
