A German commemorative gold medallion for the centenary of the birth of Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller, poet, philosopher, and historian, 1859, the obverse with laureate and draped 3/4 profile bust facing left and inscribed FRIEDRICH v. SCHILLER GEB. D. 11 NOV. 1759, the reverse inscribed CONCORDIA SOLL IHR NAME SEI and a scene from Das Lied von der Glocke with the master craftsman and fellow workers christening the bell to the belfry, the bell adorned with two angels holding wreath between them and inscribed VIVOS VOCO, in exergue, coat-of-arms between 1859 and NOV.11., 42mm, weight approx. 34.8g

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
