Our final sale of 2023 is truly international in scope, featuring important French Masters Jean Dufy (lot 70), Claude Venard (lot 227-228) and Georges Rouault (lot 66) alongside contemporary stars Grayson Perry (lot 541), Sterling Ruby (lot 549) and El Anatsui (lot 432). These complement our more traditional Modern British offering, which includes a newly authenticated work by Charles Ginner (lot 3), a classic Bryan Ingham (lot 263) and collections of works by Terry Frost (lot 248-252), J.D. Fergusson (lot 5-8) and The Bloomsbury Group (lot 58-64). We are delighted to also be selling a large group of works on paper by celebrated portraitist Frank O. Salisbury on behalf of The Walpole Society (lot 334-354).
