Jewellery & Watches

Wednesday 6 December 2023 10:00

This auction presents over 400 lots of jewellery and watches, spanning the 17th century to the present day. Highlights include a private collection of jewellery by British designer Theo Fennell, lead by a 7.07 carat Paraíba tourmaline ring, as well as a selection of predominantly antique jewellery from the collection of Viscount Harberton, including a Belle Époque diamond bracelet. Art Nouveau jeweller Lucien Gautrait is represented with a plique-a-jour enamel brooch, with more contemporary offerings from the Continent including a ruby and diamond bracelet by Italian maker Carlo Weingrill, and a peridot pendant by Boucheron. The sale also includes a good selection of coloured stones including Colombian emeralds, unheated sapphires, and Burmese rubies with pigeons blood designation. We are also pleased to offer a 10.35ct emerald cut diamond ring, a 3.30ct brilliant cut diamond ring, together with a good selection of single stone diamond rings in the 1.00 to 1.50ct range. The watches include a sought after ‘dirty dozen’ military issue watch by Timor, a Rolex reference 5500 explorer with an attractive gloss dial and a number of ever popular Cartier pieces at great price points for those wishing to start their watch collection.
