Lady Elizabeth Susan Percy, 
British 1782-1847- 

Five views from the Italian Grand Tour; 

each pencil, pen, ink, and wash on paper, some with watercolour and heightened with white, variously inscribed and dated 'Monte Portia / dal Villa Mondragone May 31 1833', 'S Agnese / 31 Jan 1835', 'Arco Felice Cumae / 26 Sep 1833', 'Dal Monte Testaccio / 29 April 1835', and 'S. Sebastiano / April 1835' (each lower left), 27.4 x 19 cm. and smaller, five (5).

Note: 
The Courtauld Gallery collection notes how 'Lady Susan Elizabeth Percy (1782-1847), the daughter of the 1st Earl of Beverly, was a talented amateur draughtswoman. She first travelled to Italy at the age of 20; over 40 sketches from this trip are now held in the Ashby collection in the Vatican Museums. She spent much of her life in Italy and, as a member of the British expatriate community in Rome, befriended Edward Lear and became his patron.' 

Buyer's Premium

The buyer shall pay the hammer price together with a premium thereon of 26% up to £20,000 (31.2% inclusive of VAT), 25% from £20,001 - £500,000 (30% inclusive of VAT), 20% from £500,001 thereafter (24% inclusive of VAT). The premium price is subject to VAT at the standard rate.

(ARR) - ARTIST'S RESALE RIGHT

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

It applies to lots with hammer value over £1,000 as follows:
0 to £50,000 - 4%
£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500

Export of goods
