Description
A Vincennes sugar-box (sucrier à la Reine), 1756, blue interlaced L cypher with date letter C, painter's sickle mark, of tapering form and painted with floral bouquets between blue line and gilt dash borders, gilt dentil rim, 7cm high
Note: The painter’s sickle mark is for a painter of flowers around the 1755-1756 period at Vincennes, but it is currently unattributed; see David Peters, Sèvres Plates and Services of the 18th century, Little Berkhamsted, 2005, p. 98.
Condition Report
A couple of firing spots below the interior rim, some light scratches to the porcelain, otherwise in good condition.

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.
It applies to lots with hammer value over £1,000 as follows:
0 to £50,000 - 4%
£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500

Export of goods
