Lot 45

Description

A Southern European stone relief of St George slaying the Dragon, 17th century style, 19th century, 42 x 22cm

As can be seen from the photograph, this relief has a slightly rough hewn quality.  There are some old chips in places, such as the nose of St George, one fold on the lower tunic, the top of his hat and the hind leg of the dragon.  There are no further significant detractions to the lot.
