Notes:

The history of Gucci's oeuvre in luggage and travel can be traced back to the early 1900s. The origins of this peculiar motif lie in the history of the House itself, when founder Guccio Gucci worked as a porter at London’s prestigious Savoy hotel. This exposure ignited his passion for high-quality travel accessories, leading him to return to his hometown to establish a line of leather travel bags and accessories under the Gucci name. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of Gucci's enduring legacy in luxury travel and craftsmanship.
