The Vapheio cups were found during excavations of the Vapheio Tholos tomb in Laconia, Greece. They were made over 3,400 years ago and are considered to be masterpieces of Creto-Mycenaean metalwork. The cups are decorated with scenes depicting bulls, which were very important in many Bronze-Age civilizations in the Mediterranean.
