Some expected areas of stress hairlines around the covers and bases. Very slight denting to the internal rim of the boxes.

Both covers with a slight area of denting to the top of the central medallion - in one cover, this is associated with some deeper cracks and some tiny losses to enamels, and approx. 10mm wide area of restoration to edge of medallion, and a few further tiny patches.

In the cover of the other box, this indenting is associated with two circular patches of over-painting, the largest 6cm diameter, some cracking and also scattered small infilled enamel chips. There are is also a larger patch of indentation to the base, with some associated enamel loss and extensive overpainting, and a few further patches of overpainting around the sides of the box.
