Gaining Irish members including Nano Reid and Norah McGuiness, their work focusing on psychological states and esoteric myth and symbols. Instrumental to Hall's artistic career and his first solo exhibition was the dealer Lucy Wertheim. Wertheim also promoted Barbara Hepworth, Christopher Wood, Frances Hodgkins and Henry Moore.
