The Property of the Late Reverend John Watson (1939-2019)

Atwood was part of a interesting circle of lesbian artists and writers that included Radclyffe Hall and her partners Christabel Marshall and Edith Craig. The artist also created works depicting the interiors of theatres and markets, similar in style to the present work.
