Description

Qadi Abd al-Salam: Sharh al-ahkam al-shiriya, signed Ahmad al-Taghmawi (?), North Africa, dated Tuesday Shaban AH 1263/26 July 1847 AD, 243ff., Arabic manuscript on paper, 26ll. of sepia Mahgrebi script per page, some important words in red, on law and jurisprudence (fiqh), Arabic manuscript on paper, in original gilt red morocco, loose in binding, folio 21 x 16cm.

This author identified here as Qadi Abd al-Salam is probably Izz al-Din bin Abd al-Salam (1181-82-1262 AD), a ShafiI theologian.

Buyer's Premium

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500
