Professional Services & Valuations Co-OrdinatorEmily is a graduate of The University of Edinburgh, where she studied History of Art. During her studies, she developed a particular interest in art’s relationship with society. Consequently, she enjoyed specialising in the French avant-garde movements and the dynastic portraiture of Hans Holbein the Younger and Sir Peter Lely. Emily’s dissertation focused on the representation of nineteenth-century middle-class identity in the portraiture of John Singer Sargent.
Emily joined Roseberys in March 2026. Within the Probate, Estates & Insurance Valuations department, Emily facilitates the co-ordination of the valuation process from the initial enquiry through to consignment. This involves the preparation of detailed valuation reports, organising logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. Prior to this, she gained experience at Lyon & Turnbull as a viewing assistant, auction clerk, and intern after graduating university in July 2025.
