He has worked at a number of antiques businesses and galleries including a North London mid-century design specialist and a 19th Century portraiture stand at The Decorative Fair in Battersea. Bertie also has a keen interest in conservation and restoration, having worked with the Lottery Heritage Fund on the restoration of historic buildings, including the Union Chapel in Islington.
