Roseberys’ Prints & Multiples auction on April 16th will feature outstanding works, including two printed iPad paintings by David Hockney, Andy Warhol’s Mick Jagger and Stik’s Standing Figure (Grey). The sale also includes a rare set of Bridget Riley’s Nineteen Greys prints.
This sale will also feature a remarkable selection of prints from the private collection of pioneering avant-garde artist Agathe Sorel and her husband, Gabor Sitkey. The Agathe Sorel and Gabor Sitkey Print Collection (lots 1-56), includes works by Paul Gauguin, Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch and Francis Bacon.
Other highlights include works by Joan Miró, Terry O’Neill, Bob Dylan and Bridget Riley, along with a selection of prints by The Grosvenor School artists Cyril Edward Power, Sybil Andrews, Lill Tschudi and Margaret Barnard.
