Roseberys are once again delighted to take part in the prestigious Asian Art in London event this Autumn.
Asian Art in London was founded in 1998 to celebrate London as an international centre for expertise and excellence in the promotion of Asian Art. Focused on an annual autumn event, it brings together leading international Asian art dealers, auction houses, museums and societies, in a series of gallery selling-exhibitions, auctions, receptions and lectures.
This year the event will celebrate Indian & Islamic Art from Thursday 21st October until Saturday 30th October and East Asian Art from Thursday 28th October – Saturday 6th November.
Bill Forrest, Head of the Chinese, Japanese & South East Asian Art department comments : ‘This year highlights from the Chinese, Japanese & South East Asian Art sale will be exhibited in The Nine British Art gallery, 9 Bury St, St. James's, London SW1Y 6AB on the opening weekend celebrating East Asian Art, on the 30th and 31st October, giving visiting museums, galleries, and collectors the opportunity to examine and admire some of the 700 objects which will be offered for sale on the 9th and 10th November at Roseberys London rooms. Among these highlights will be a magnificent Qianlong period blue and white Moonflask, several pieces of Qing Imperial porcelain, a private collection of early Chinese and Korean ceramics, and a selection of fine Chinese metalware.’
