Meet Rebecca Oakley ( @rivierarebel )


With a degree in Environmental Protection and a passion for nature, travel and design, jewellery designer Rebecca Oakley is the creator of the sustainable jewellery brand, Riviera Rebel.

Blending organic, nautical forms with unexpected details to celebrate the natural world and coastal heritage of Britain, her jewellery collections are sensitively created in England using eco silver and recycled packaging. 10% of all sales are donated to WWF to support habitat conservation. Here she took five, to pick 5 of her favourite lots in the upcoming Jewellery & Watches auction at Roseberys that will take place on Wednesday 15 June.

Lot 32: A curb link bracelet, of tri-colour figure of eight linking, length 18cm

Lot 161: Two 19th century rock crystal and gold bead necklaces, each composed of a series of oval-shaped carved melon rock crystal beads, interspersed with fluted gold beads, lengths 70cm and 59cm (2)

Lot 289: An early 20th century, sapphire and diamond ring, centring on an oval cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 32.00 carats, to an open work geometric mount accented with baguette and single-cut diamonds, c.1920 ring size L 1/5. Accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Service GCS, London, report number 5782-1393, dated 30.03.2022, stating that the sapphire is Ceylon origin with no indications of heating
