On Tuesday 1 May Roseberys London presents their Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples auction. The sale hosts a comprehensive selection from the classic to the contemporary.
The 280 lot sale covers an array of names and price points making it a sale of interest to both serious collectors and first time buyers.
A selection of highlighted lots include:
(Lot 14) Cyril Edward Power, British 1872-1951- Matriarchy, c.1931; linocut, signed, titled, numbered 7 and inscribed EP in pencil, 25x36cm

Also offered on the day is an interesting set of illustrations by Marc Chagall.
(Lot 41) Marc Chagall, Russian/French 1887-1985- Illustrations for Les Âmes mortes (Dead Souls) by Nicolas Gogol, fourteen from the ninety-six plates.

A selection of 4 playful lots by Salvador Dali to include:
(Lot 51) Salvador Dali, Spanish 1904-1989- Les Chevaux de Dali, 1983; a portfolio of 18 lithographs on Vélin d’Arches, ea. signed within the plate, bearing the publishers blind stamp and with printed copyright of S.P.A.D.E.M, lacking the text and justification pages, housed within a velvet portfolio, from the edition of 4980, published by Armand and George Israel in Paris, printed by Imprimerie Nationale, Paris, 57.2x38x1.3cm, (folio) (ARR)
This edition was printed during the lifetime of Salvador Dali and with his consent. It was created after 25 gouaches paintings that Salvador Dali painted during 1971.

For animal lovers there is a wonderful etching by Richard Bawden, RWS NEAC RE, Entitled Pink Eyes (lot 226), etching printed in colours, signed, titled and numbered 90/100 in pencil, 46 x37cm
