Marketing & PR Manager
Roseberys London are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Marketing and PR Manager to implement and help shape the promotion and message of the company.
This is an exciting, hands-on role which encourages meaningful contribution towards shaping the marketing initiatives of the business and with scope for growth and career development as the department and company expand.
Involved in developing and executing marketing and advertising campaigns across a variety of platforms to promote the business and services, through social and digital media, news items, press releases and placements and maintaining and managing the reputation of the company through influencing opinion and behaviour, reporting to the Managing Director.
Job Responsibilities
Overseeing day to day marketing activities
Managing the marketing assistant and interns
Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns across a range of disciplines including print, digital and social paths.
Writing copy for marketing collateral, including press releases, brochures, catalogues, website, templates for letters and emails and websites.
Proofing all marketing material.
Understanding projects and campaigns and writing thorough specs for each.
Taking a daily interest in objects and collections coming in for auction and provide reactionary marketing
Creating and managing interest lists
Creating an annual marketing schedule
Financial projections for departmental and company annual spending and managing the budget
Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign.
Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met
Producing and presenting campaign results to departments and the directors
Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
Point of contact for marketing, advertising and third party agencies
Working with designers to create campaign material
In house design work
Catalogue uploads to various platforms
Managing the website: Banner ads, refreshing and keeping up to date, press releases and news stories
Organising events
The ideal candidate:
This role would suit someone with a minimum of three years marketing experience and does not have to come from an auction background. We are particularly interest in candidates with a background in digital and social media marketing.
Degree in Marketing would be an advantage as would CIM qualification
Experience managing a small team
Experience with photoshop and other editing software
Previous experience in a similar role desirable
Proven track record with social media
Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage complex workload and schedule
Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends.
Excellent proof-reading skills
High level of attention to detail
Strong project management and organisation skills
Be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, so to communicate with employees, members of the management team, and in group presentations and meetings
A positive outlook and can-do attitude

Front of House Assistant & Administrator
Overview:
The Client Services department are fundamental at Roseberys often being the first point of contact for our clients in person, over the phone or via email. We seek to employ a candidate who is professional, presentable and polite, with the ability to actively listen to clients so they can adequately gauge and address their needs, with excellent verbal communication skills and a good command of the English language.

Book keeper
Roseberys are seeking a diligent and fastidious book keeper with exceptional attention to detail. This role will be to assist with daily accounting and general admin tasks focussed around the auction schedule. The role has good scope for advancement within the department for the right candidate.
Overview & Responsibilities
This role can be a full or part time position and is based in-house within Roseberys offices.
To work closely with our Accounts team in order to facilitate the smooth daily running of the accounts’ office. This role would suit an organised individual with AAT level 3 or studying towards it, and who has a head for numbers and detail.
Main responsibilities include assisting with:
Accounts Administration
Auction sale reconciliation
Bank Reconciliation
Purchase Ledger Invoices
General accountancy duties including reconciling credit card statements, petty cash reconciliation
Taking payments over the phone and entering payments from Bank Account and Sagepay
Entering results on auction day
Keeping sales invoice spreadsheet up to date
Emailing statements and sending out payments to vendors
Chase buyers for payment
Process re-charges, VAT refunds
Maintaining the department inbox and responding to customer queries
Answering the phone and answering queries
Pre and post auction administration and reconciliation for departments
Taking deposits and refunding
General office admin tasks filing etc.
Assisting the head of Accounts as required
Skills & Qualifications
AAT level 3, or currently studying towards this.
Previous experience in an administrative role and basic knowledge of bookkeeping
Good level of computer competency, experience in Sage 50, Xero and Microsoft Navision an advantage
Ability to work well under pressure within a very fast paced environment
An all-round team player who is happy to contribute to assist and enable the success of the other departments
Excellent communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Previous experience within an auction house or an interest in auctions would be beneficial but not essential

Roseberys are seeking a new saleroom porter & Assistant to work within our furniture department.
This is an excellent entry level role to learn about all aspects of the auction world, specifically within a friendly and knowledgeable team.

Roseberys are seeking a diligent, enthusiastic and passionate person to join our Modern British & 20th Century Art department. This is a full-time position and based in-house within the auction rooms. This is a busy and hands on role and the perfect candidate would have language skills, an interest in urban and contemporary art, some previous experience in cataloguing and the desire to grow their skills and knowledge within these areas.
Overview
This position is to provide support to the Head of Department in all aspects of the consignment, cataloguing and auction process to enable the continued growth and success of the department.
