The January 29th Asian, Antiquities, Islamic and Indian Arts sale features a huge selection of ceramics, arms and armour, paintings, scrolls, manuscripts and reference books for all budgets.
The Chinese, Japanese, and South East Asian Art section includes nearly 450 lots from China, Japan, Korea, Burma, and Vietnam. Highlights include a private collection of Chinese ceramics.
The Antiquities, Islamic, and Indian Arts section features paintings, drawings, and objets d’art, including gold swords from a Royal Collection, Indian arms, the private Arabian Nights-themed library of scholar Robert Irwin (1946-2024), and contemporary Iranian works.
