Attributed to Captain Henry Burges, 
British c.1760-1807- 

Three views of False Bay, Cape of Good Hope; 

pencil and watercolour on paper, inscribed 'False Bay / Cape of Good Hope / from Capt. Heny. Burges' verso, the upper view inscribed 'NW ... Going into Bay False the Land appears as above', the central view inscribed 'West ... Bay False, when going in', 25.9 x 36 cm.; together with six further sketches of the Cape of Good Hope and St. Helena, possibly by various hands, one partially indistinctly inscribed '...[?] - taken from the Walpole Indiaman 1787 / no 2' verso, the others bearing partially indistinct inscriptions, 19.4 x 54.4 cm. and smaller, seven (7), (unframed). (VAT charged on Hammer Price).

Note: 
Henry Burges captained the East Indiaman 'The Earl of Chesterfield' on two voyages; the first, from Falmouth to Madras, Benkulen and Bengal in 1789, and the second from Torbay to Bombay and China in 1793-4. 

The 'Walpole' was launched on the Thames in 1779 and made seven voyages for the British East India Company, the third of which, between 1786-88, was captained by Captain Churchill, and travelled to Madras, Bengal, and China.

Buyer's Premium

The buyer shall pay the hammer price together with a premium thereon of 26% up to £20,000 (31.2% inclusive of VAT), 25% from £20,001 - £500,000 (30% inclusive of VAT), 20% from £500,001 thereafter (24% inclusive of VAT). The premium price is subject to VAT at the standard rate.

(ARR) - ARTIST'S RESALE RIGHT

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

It applies to lots with hammer value over £1,000 as follows:
0 to £50,000 - 4%
£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500
