A fine illuminated manuscript on vellum, bound by Bumpus
Small 4to (162 x 120mm), illuminated manuscript on vellum, comprising half-title, full page frontispiece with watercolour of a shepherd and his flock, illuminated title, six page poem and colophon stating This book, written out by me, Sidney Farnsworth, For the pleasure and solace of Gwladys Freda Peel, at the bidding of LLoyd Kenyon, was finished on the 6th. day of February. Anno Domini 1913, in a contemporary black morocco binding, richly tooled in gilt with initials G.F.P. to sides (Gwladys Freda Peel), the spine in six compartments with gilt floral emblem, five raised gilt bands, gilt edges

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500

Export of goods
Buyers intending to export goods should ascertain whether an export licence is required before bidding. Export licences are issued by Arts Council England and application forms can be obtained from its Export Licensing Unit.
