Full Lot Description
A Meissen composite part dessert service, late 19th century, hand-painted with blossoming flowers and butterflies and with alternating reticulated lattice and cartouche borders, comprising: four two-tiered cake stands, two surmounted by a figural finial in the form of a maiden with an apron of roses and two with a boy holding a floral wreath, on knopped supports and spreading gilt heightened bases, 41.5cm high; four tazzas, on knopped supports and spreading bases, 12.5cm high; and four tazzas on spreading socle bases, 6.5cm high, 21cm diameter, all with underglaze blue crossed swords and impressed marks (12)

Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.

£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
