Valuation for Sale by Auction:
We are open at the Saleroom Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm for free verbal valuations without obligation. For items too large to transport or complete house contents we would be pleased to visit you at home, again this is without charge. We can, where possible, give valuations from photograph by post or e-mail.
We are open at the Saleroom on the 2nd Saturday following each auction between 10 am - 2pm.
We are open at our Mayfair Office every Thursday and Friday between 10 am - 4pm, Landmark Building, 17 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London, W1S 1HU, 020 8761 2522 for appointments.
Probate Valuations:
We aim to provide a fast and efficient service for executors.
A formal detailed inventory and valuation is prepared, naming all items of significant value and any specific bequests. In the event of executors wishing to dispose of some or all of the chattels involved in an estate, Rosebery's provides a complete sales service. Collection of the items is arranged and catalogued for inclusion in the appropriate sale or sales.
Formal valuations are charged at a rate of 1.5% of the total value with a minimum charge of £395+Vat. However, the fee may be reduced when items are consigned for auction.
House Clearance:
We are pleased to offer a complete house clearance service where required.
Insurance valuations:
A detailed inventory and valuation is provided, giving an overall total for the entire contents of the more significant pieces. This can include photographs if required.
Valuations are charged at a rate of 1.5% of the total value with a minimum charge of £595+vat. For smaller items that can be brought to our offices for inspection a minimum fee of £100+Vat will apply.
